Security Forces Squadron to reunite with families after six months in Arabian Peninsula

WASHINGTON, DC (10/11/2012)(readMedia)-- Approximately 24 members of the D.C. Air Guard's 113th Wing Security Forces Squadron will be returning home from a 182-day deployment to the United Arab Emirates Friday, Oct. 12, at the AMC terminal of Baltimore/Washington International Airport in Maryland. They are expected to arrive at 3am.

They will be met by their families and friends.

These Air National Guard airmen were conducting security forces missions to include training UAE military members on basic law enforcement and security skills.

Many of these airmen have completed multiple previous deployments. They have endured separation from their families and friends. Two of these airmen missed the birth of a new child.
